With a passion for photography and travelling Thilo left Germany in 1999 to study Visual Arts in Sydney.
During his time abroad Thilo met his wife, held several exhibitions, was represented by a gallery, and assisted an established portrait photographer.
Back in Germany Thilo spent two years assisting commercial photographers before returning to Sydney to live with his wife in Australia.

He worked as the in-house photographer for a media company, where he organised and conducted countless photo shoots for up to six different magazines – all with a strong focus on editorial portraiture.

Two years later Thilo established his own photography business but has continued the working relationship with his former employer on a freelance basis.
Amongst new clients are top law firms, banks, insurance companies, architects and artist. He has also continued with personal projects, has exhibited further and received another award for the quality of his work. (please check personal section)
